A constructability review is a process that utilizes contractors or other construction personnel with extensive construction knowledge to review proposed design plans, specifications, construction schedule, and cost estimation during the design stage of projects. This process helps ensure that the projects are buildable, while also being cost-effective, biddable, and maintainable. If possible, it is preferable to include constructability reviews early on in the design phase of a project.
